My Top 5 Favorites for December 2022

Starting a new series where I share my top 5 favorites from the month. These can be toys, products, clothes, furniture, or really anything I’ve been loving for Mackenzie or myself over the past month.

1. Camera for kids– Mackenzie got this for Hanukkah & she absolutely loves it! She can take real pictures & I can upload them to my computer with an SD card. It’s actually adorable to have photos taken by my 2.5 year old. This camera comes with way more like video & games, but she doesn’t know that yet, so she’s only used it to take pictures so far. Highly recommend this as a gift for a kiddo older than 2.5/3 years old!

2. Mad Mattr Soft Modeling Dough Compound– Another gift from the holidays. This one surprised me since sensory play can be very messy sometimes. This dough is a mix between kinetic sand & play dough. It holds together better than kinetic sand so it’s not as messy (still can get messy, but not as easily). When pressed together, it forms like a hard surface. It’s very cool & your little one might just love it!

3. Kingdomino– This game is for 8 and up, but it’s great for adults. Greg and I love finding games that we can play just the two of us because sometimes it gets really old night after night just sitting on the couch watching TV. This is a really fun one that can be played up to four people. And I love that it’s 8 and up so younger kids can also play it. (I have more 2 player games I’ll be sharing soon that we’ve been loving recently)

4. White trays for activities– These were a find from @mothercould. They are great for containing an activity such as an art project or sensory play. We’ve also used them for holding puzzles. They’re great because Mackenzie can just grab a tray and play!

5. Wet Brush– Mackenzie has fine, curly hair and I found the perfect brush! I can brush through her knotty hair very easily & she never seems like it hurts when I brush her hair. I use this So Cozy Curl Leave-In Conditioner & it works really well!
