Great Games to Play with One Other Person or Your Whole Family

With the holidays just around the corner, I figured I’d make a list of some fun games that Greg and I have been playing recently. I have to give a lot of credit to my Aunt for introducing us to a bunch of these games and I love that they’re games just Greg and I can play or games we can play with more people. If you’re going to a family gathering for the holidays or it’s just you and your spouse or partner at home, these games are super fun to play! Different Ways to Use Painters Tape with Toddlers

I had no idea you could use painters tape in so many different ways with your toddler! I’m going to share a few different activities I’ve done with Mackenzie over the past couple of weeks. Some worked her bigger muscles (gross motor) & some worked her smaller muscles (fine motor skills). I used this painters tape from amazon & these animals to do these activities with Mackenzie. 1.Wall Animal Rescue: I used small pieces of painters tape to put the animals on the all. Mackenzie had to stand at the wall and get the animals off. I like doing this type of activity where she has to stand at the…

Brand Highlight: Why I Love Puffworks

I actually have to thank my cousin Amy for telling me about Puffworks. She has a song who is 4 months older than Mackenzie, so she was always a few months ahead of us! When we started solids, Amy told me about Puffworks and how great they were for introducing the peanut allergy to your 6 month old. We had actually already introduced the peanut allergen to Mackenzie by thinning out peanut butter and seeing if she had a reaction. Once she was ready for something more ‘solid’ I introduced the Peanut Butter Puffworks Baby to her. She absolutely LOVED them! What I loved is that they were crunchy, but…

You don’t need a sensory table to do sensory bins, you just need a bin or a bowl! Mackenzie is someone who likes to put things in her mouth, so I knew I wanted to create taste safe sensory bins so she could enjoy & safely play with different textures & things. I decided to try out 5 taste safe sensory bins with Mackenzie over the past two weeks. They’re super simple to put together: 1. Cheerio Sand: It’s super easy to make this cheerio sand!…

My Travel Guide To Mount Snow, Vermont

I’ve been going up to Vermont, specifically Mount Snow, since I was a newborn. My parents would bring me and my sisters up all the time, all year round. It became my second home and now I get to bring my daughter up to my favorite place. I met my husband at Mount Snow, we got engaged at Mount Snow, & got married at Mount Snow, so it’s easy to say that this place is special to us. I wanted to put together a little guide to the area since I know it pretty well. I’ve broken it down by things to do during different seasons, where to stay, different…

    Overrated Baby Products

I asked on instagram a few weeks back for your most overrated baby item and I’m sharing them below! If you’re currently pregnant and looking at baby things you’ll need once baby arrives, check out this list for some things you may NOT need to get: *Before I go into why I think these products are overrated, I should note that some items that are unnecessary to some, may be “must haves” for others. Swing- Some babies love a swing and some babies absolutely hate it. This is definitely a hit-or-miss baby product for sure. Boudreaux’s Butt Paste- I so wanted to love this diaper cream, but it’s so greasy…
