Brand Highlight: Why I Love Puffworks

I actually have to thank my cousin Amy for telling me about Puffworks. She has a song who is 4 months older than Mackenzie, so she was always a few months ahead of us! When we started solids, Amy told me about Puffworks and how great they were for introducing the peanut allergy to your 6 month old. We had actually already introduced the peanut allergen to Mackenzie by thinning out peanut butter and seeing if she had a reaction. Once she was ready for something more ‘solid’ I introduced the Peanut Butter Puffworks Baby to her. She absolutely LOVED them! What I loved is that they were crunchy, but soft enough to dissolve pretty instantly. They say you should keep giving your little one a potential allergen day after day to keep building their immunity because an allergy can develop at anytime. Giving Mackenzie these peanut butter puffs has been such an easy way to continually expose her to peanut butter.

They just introduced another product to their baby line, Almond Butter Peanut Butter Puffs, and they are also a huge hit in this house! They have many other flavors, like honey peanut butter, dark chocolate peanut butter, & strawberry PB&J, that are crunchier & don’t dissolve as quickly as the baby puffs. We have both baby puff flavors on subscription so we haven’t tried any others yet!
