My Top 5 Favorites from February 2023
Sharing my top 5 favorites from February (in no particular order): 1. Piggy Paint Nail Polish– We’ve been using this nail polish for a while now & love it! It’s non toxic, odorless, & dries pretty quickly. Mackenzie loves when I paint her nails & there are so many fun colors. It does chip off easily, but she’s young enough & doesn’t seem to mind at all! 2. Bombas Slippers– These are great slippers that actually stay on! 3. Color Wonder Mess Free Coloring– If your little one loves to color, but sometimes the mess is just too much then this is perfect! The markers ONLY work on special paper…

Base Layers- REI Base Layer Top & REI Base Layer Pants (super soft & stretchy material) Patagonia Base Layer Top & Patagonia Base Layer Pants Mid Layers- LL Bean Fleece Long Sleeve Shirt & Pants Spyder Quarter Zip Socks– We went with Euro socks because they aren’t made of wool & Mackenzie has very sensitive skin & these are very soft! 4XXXX Small is perfect for her & will probably last a couple of seasons. Bibs- They’re expensive but, I like these bibs because they are adjustable & we’ve gotten 2 seasons so far out of them! Coat– This is very similar to the coat Mackenzie is wearing now. This…

Everything We Have At Home To Potty Train Our Toddler
Even though we’ve hit the pause button on potty training for right now, I wanted to share all the things we have at home to help expose her & eventually use when the time comes. Potty seat (either one for the big toilet or a small potty that sits on the floor)- depending on how many toilets you have in your house, you many want to get more than one so when you’re in the thick of potty training you always have one somewhat near by. We have a few different ones: Pull-Ups- Some people have different opinions on using pull-ups while potty training, but I think before potty training…

My Top 5 Favorites for December 2022
Starting a new series where I share my top 5 favorites from the month. These can be toys, products, clothes, furniture, or really anything I’ve been loving for Mackenzie or myself over the past month. 1. Camera for kids– Mackenzie got this for Hanukkah & she absolutely loves it! She can take real pictures & I can upload them to my computer with an SD card. It’s actually adorable to have photos taken by my 2.5 year old. This camera comes with way more like video & games, but she doesn’t know that yet, so she’s only used it to take pictures so far. Highly recommend this as a gift…

Indoor Toddler Activities For When You Can’t Go Outside
Below you’ll find a list of some of my favorite indoor activities, which are especially great for rainy days! If you have a toddler like mine who loves the rain, you’ll still want to get outside, as long as it’s safe, for some fresh air & puddle jumping! How I Tame My Toddler’s Curly Hair
Do you have a toddler with curly, frizzy, hard to tame hair? It’s taken a few months, but I’ve finally figured out how to somewhat manage her curls. Below is everything I’ve been using on her hair for the last few months: SoCozy Kids Curl Leave in Conditioner– this stuff is great! Doesn’t leave her hair hard or crunchy & has a nice (not overwhelming) scent. Spray bottle for water– I filled this with water to use when her hair is dry Comb– This comes with a brush & comb. When her hair was straighter I would use the brush, but now I ONLY use the comb. This comb is…

My Favorite Straw Cups for Toddlers
We have all of these cups & have been using them for a while now so I feel like I can give my honest opinion on all of them. We began using straw cups when we started solids so that we could provide water while she ate. I also found that since she was using them so often we had ZERO issues when it came time at 12 months to completely drop bottles! This was one of our first straw cups Mackenzie used! We’ve only ever used it for water & it’s worked out great. I’ve never had any issues with it leaking and she can drop it without it…
