My Top 5 Favorites from January 2023
Sharing my top 5 favorites from January (in no particular order): 1.Turtle Fur Toddler Neck Warmer– I’ve been trying to find a neck warmer for Mackenzie that wasn’t too big & I finally found one that she actually likes wearing. Comes in a few sizes, fun prints & is pretty stretchy so it’s not too tight on her neck & face. I found the toddler size in this style to be perfect for her! 2. Uzzle Game– Last month I shared Kingdomino & this month I’m sharing another favorite of ours. This one can be played as young as 4 years old & can be for 2 or more players.…

Where is Baby’s Christmas Present– Great lift-the-flap book! Where’s Santa Clause? – I love felt lift-the-flap books! They don’t rip like a traditional lift-the-flap book which is great for young kiddos! Babies Love Christmas– Another great lift-the-flap book, which simple words and pictures on each page! You’re My Little Christmas Cookie– we have this one for Hanukkah too & its very cute! Construction Site: Merry and Bright– As a preschool teacher I loved all the Construction Site series, so…

My Scariest Moment As a Parent So Far, Parenting Fail Big Time
I don’t enjoy that I’m writing this post, but I wanted to share it because of how crappy this situation made me feel and how much blame I put on myself even though, in the end my daughter was fine. Also, I’m sharing this because I feel like there aren’t enough stories out there showing that we make mistakes as parents, we’re not perfect and it’s okay to make a mistake, but learn from your mistakes and grow. Last week, we went on a walk in Vermont and I didn’t think it was too cold for Mackenzie to join. Oh boy was I wrong! The temperature was in the 20’s…
