Helping You Pick A Table Booster Seat For Your Toddler

Today I’m comparing the Oxo Tot Nest Booster Seat vs. Ingenuity Smartclean Booster Seat!

I’m going to break down the pros & cons I see with both of these booster seats, but overall I think they are both great options. The pros and cons are virtually the same for both of these seats, but with small differences.

OXO TOT NEST BOOSTER SEAT

Pros:

+ easy to clean seat: the gray part lifts up so you can clean underneath

+ long straps so it can attach to most chairs

+ soft, comfortable seat

+ handle for carrying

+ goes up higher on their back so gives a little more support

+ comes in a few colors (gray, navy, pink, taupe)

Cons:

+ sides come up somewhat high so could be an issue when pushing the chair into the table

+ on the more expensive side (I found it at Bed Bath & Beyond for $57.99, but was able to use a 20% off coupon)

+ bulky: does not fold up for storage or travel

INGENUITY SMARTCLEAN BOOSTER SEAT

Pros:

+ easy to clean seat: gray part lifts up from white base so you can get it really clean

+ long straps so you can attach it to most chairs

+ handle for carrying

+ soft, cushiony seat

+ on the less expensive side (I found it cheapest at Walmart for $33 in gray)

+ comes in 2 colors (gray & blue)

Cons:

+ sides come up somewhat high, so could be an issue when pushing the chair into the table

+ gray cushion part is not attached to the white base, it just sits on top of it (we haven’t had any issues with this, and find that Mackenzie still feels safe and secure even though it’s not attached per se)
