How We Created A Purposeful Play Area for Our Toddler
We don’t have a designated playroom on the main floor of our house, so we created a section of our dining room (which rarely gets used) for Mackenzie’s toys. When she was a baby we just had out a plush floor mat with toys, but as she got older I could see all of her stuff slowly taking over the rest of our dining room. I wanted to create a more purposeful place for her to play. Since she’s not a baby anymore we don’t necessarily need a big floor mat for her to play on. I like that she now has a table she can play at!
Below is what her play area looked like before:
And here is what her play area looks like now:
Gathre Floor Mat (currently sold out, but linked for when it’s back in stock)
Sensory Table (make sure you put in your info to receive notifications for when this table restocks locally for you)
Baby Dolls: Manhattan Toy Baby Stella Doll & Soft Baby Doll from Amazon
I love the way her new play area functions now for her current age and the best part is I have all my dining room furniture back (well mostly)!
