My Favorite Baby Clothing Brands

There are SO many baby clothing brands out there, it’s kind of hard to know which ones are truly the best! I love Carter’s for good every day outfits or holidays, but I find their sizing to sometimes be so OFF! Also, almost everything is 100% cotton so your little one may grow out of it very quickly because there’s little to no stretch in the fabric. I’ve discovered some brands that should hopefully last you a long time 🙂

In terms of sizing, I can’t be the only person who still has trouble figuring out sizing with all the different brands! Sometimes I order something in her current size in another brand and it’s either too big or too small! It’s so hard for me to figure out her size in all the different brands I buy. At the time of this post M is almost 9 months old and weighs 20 lbs and 27 inches. Hopefully knowing her stats and what size she is currently wearing will help figuring out what size you need!

Copper Pearl

This is the Copper Pearl swaddle blanket we used whenever it was clean! It is stretchy and easy to use as a swaddle or blanket during those first few weeks. The hat is Aden and Anais.

Everything from Copper Pearl is buttery soft! We used their milk and cookies swaddle in the hospital and all the nurses commented on how soft it was! We also love their bandana style bibs because they are super absorbent.

Lou Lou and Company

M wearing 6-12 top and bottom at 3 months old.
M wearing the same 6-12 top and bottom set at 7 months old.

This is one of my favorite baby clothing brands! I love their tops and bottom sets. M has been wearing the 6-12 top and bottom set since she was 3 months old and they still fit her 5 months later! All of their clothing is made of rayon/spandex blend and they are so incredibly soft and stretchy! I just bought her a romper for summer and I am so excited for her to wear it! Their tops and bottoms fit for a while since they are so stretchy. M is going to be 9 months next month and I think we may need to start sizing up. M has got rolls FOR DAYS on her arms and legs so a slimmer baby may fit more true to size, but I think for our little one we may need to go up a size next month!

Little Sleepies

Both are wearing sweet treats (M is in 6-12)
Wearing size 3-6 mo in limited release bunnies!

This brand will last you FOREVER! Do not size up when ordering the zippies, I repeat do not size up! M is almost 9 months old and still fits into 3-6mo which she has been wearing since December. She also wears 6-12 with lots of room to grow. These bamboo pjs are so soft and stretchy. What I love about the zippies, besides the fabric, are the fold over cuffs for both the hands and feet. I have a few two-piece sets, but they are for when she’s older. My husband loves these zippies so much that he’ll ask where they are when they either in the wash or drying in the laundry room. I’ve put them in the dryer before, but for longevity I recommend hanging them to dry. Little Sleepies make such a great gift, it’s my new go-to gift when someone has a new little one!

KyteBaby

Wearing 6-18 sage sleep sack and 6-12 orchid romper.
M is wearing a 6-12 body suit here.

I first found this brand because of their sleep sacks. I was looking for something to transition M into after the Merlin Suit and came across this highly recommended sleep sack. I have a few other brands and this is by far my favorite sleep sack. After getting a sleep sack I was sold and bought some rompers, body suits, and footie zippies. She’s currently wearing 6-12 in all of the above. I find that the rompers and body suits fit her pretty true to size, but the footie zippies I find to be quite long. These bamboo baby clothes and sleep sacks are well made and again would make great gifts!

M wore a kimono set from Magnetic Me home from the hospital!

Magnetic Me clothing makes getting a baby dressed so easy! M came home from the hospital in a magnetic me kimono 3-piece set. The kimono style is great for newborns while they still have their umbilical cord attached to their belly button. She was swimming in the newborn size for quite a few weeks after she was born, but they were so comfy and easy to dress her in. The footies and coveralls are great! We have a few that are made in the modal fabric and they are super lightweight and stretchy. We also have some in the organic cotton and I find these to be just as nice, but a little warmer and not as stretchy. This one of my top recommendations for parents because they make changing your little one so easy!
