How To Keep Your Diaper Bag Organized

My house may not always be organized and neat, but you better believe my diaper bag is! I have a few tricks to keep it organized. Some things I can’t live with out that help me keep my bag organized are the Alvababy wet/dry bags & Bumkins waterpoof bags.

The first bag holds everything I would need for diapering. I keep extra diapers, a changing pad, wipes, diaper cream, diaper cream applicator brush, & Munchkin dirty diaper bags.

The next bag is an Alvababy wet/dry bag that holds extra clothing. I keep a change of clothes in here with socks, a hat, and a 5-in-1 multi use cover (right now I use it for the grocery shopping cart). What I love about these Alvababy bags is that you can put the dirty clothes in a separate pocket than anything else that’s clean.

In another Alvababy wet/dry bag I keep anything that I would need for meal time. I keep snacks, disposable placemats, a fork & spoon (I love this set because it comes in a travel case), and toys & books.

The small Bumkins bag is for medicine. Right now I have infant tylenol & boogie wipes. When Mackenzie was younger I also carried around gripe water & mylicon.

I also keep random items like her sunglasses, hand sanitizer, & Aquaphor in the pockets of my backpack. I keep all of this in my MZ Wallace backpack that I used well before I became a mom. I tried out a tote style diaper bag when Mackenzie was a newborn and I just didn’t like it. I couldn’t fit everything in it and it just wasn’t easy to access everything that I had inside. My advice is to go with a backpack, it’s easier on your back and it fits more in my opinion.

Hope this was helpful if you’re trying to figure out how best to keep your diaper bag organzied!
