My Top Must Haves For Toddler Motion Sickness
We have been dealing with our toddler & car sickness for a while now and I finally feel like we are in a much better spot. Every time we would drive to Vermont, she would wake out of a deep sleep & get sick. I felt awful for her & had to figure out a way to make these car rides better for her. We did switch her to forward facing just after she turned three, even though I really wanted to keep her rear facing until she maxed out her car seats rear facing requirements, but ultimately I think her riding forward facing helped a lot. Having your child get sick can be some of the scariest days you’ll experience as a parent. You feel helpless not knowing exactly what your child needs from you. Seeing them in pain makes your heart hurt. Being in a pandemic adds a whole other layer to worrying about your child when they’re sick.
