Sharing Two Great Learning Towers for Toddlers
Once Mackenzie was old enough I knew I wanted to get her involved in the kitchen so I wanted to find a great learning tower for her so she could join me at the island. I had some things I was looking for when trying to pick a learning tower:
- It had to grow with her so it needed to have a platform that moved to different heights (this took quite a few out of the running for me)
- Small footprint so it didn’t get in the way ( I considered one that folds up, but was also fine with one that stayed out at all times)
Learning towers are so great for getting little ones involved at a young age. You’ll notice in this reel that Mackenzie loves putting together Nala’s food and having her learning tower at the island makes this easy!
The two I found and love are Little Partners Explore ‘N Store™ Learning Tower® & Kids Kitchen Step Stool with 3 Adjustable Heights. I’m going to share below my thoughts on both, but in my opinion you can’t go wrong with either!
Here’s my take on the Little Partners Explore ‘N Store™ Learning Tower® :
⭐️ Easy to assemble
⭐️ Easy to change the height of the platform without tools (4 different heights)
⭐️ Customer service- we had an issue with one of the pieces & they responded to my email quickly & sent the new piece out right away
⭐️ Four sided railing
⭐️ Green gold certified
⭐️ Finished in child-safe, non-toxic paints which also makes it easy to wipe down
⭐️ I love the design- the step at bottom is large making it easy to step up & get down (this bottom step also folds up making it more compact when not in use)
⭐️ Cost: $159.99 (free shipping)
I also found this Kids Kitchen Step Stool with 3 Adjustable Heights & it looked very similar to the Little Partners, at a lower price point, one so we wanted to try it out. Here are my thoughts:
⭐️ Easy to assemble
⭐️ 3 adjustable heights, but you’ll need an electric screwdriver to change the height
⭐️ Four sided railing
⭐️ The wood comes unfinished, which was fine, but I wanted to make it easily wipeable since food with naturally be getting all over it. I bought sealant, which added cost to the total price of this learning tower, but I felt it was necessary for me. ( I spent around $40 at a local hardware store on sealant & supplies)
⭐️Just like the other learning tower, I love the design- the step at bottom is large making it easy to step up & get down
⭐️ Cost: currently $54.99 on Groupon, $69.99 on Walmart
Both of these learning towers are a great design because theres a nice big step for her to get up by herself & she can get down safely by herself as well!
There are so many learning tower options out there so hopefully this helps you narrow it down for you!
They do make ones that collapse if you don’t have a ton of room & don’t always want it out. Here’s one that I always see being shared on instagram:
Guide Craft Contemporary Kitchen Helper Stool with 2 Keepers– $199.95
Lastly, learning towers are also great to use at the sink so they can wash their hands!
