What You Need For Back To School: Nursery/Preschool Edition
This is going to be Mackenzie’s first year in school & I’ve spent August buying a lot of stuff for her! Since she’s only going to nursery school I didn’t buy a lot of your typical school supplies, but I’ll share what I did buy. Mackenzie is going to school for the morning & will be having lunch there so I needed to buy her stuff for that, but she won’t be napping there so I didn’t need to buy any nap stuff. + backpack– Mackenzie picked out her backpack & my number 1 tip is DO NOT put your child’s name on the outside of their backpack for safety…

The Importance of a Bedtime Routine for My Toddler
Kids thrive on routine, so it’s no surprise that a bedtime routine would be super helpful. We have been implementing some form of a bedtime routine since Mackenzie was just a couple of months old. It has changed over time, but there has always been a routine in place. When she was just a few months old her routine looked like this: bath time, overnight diaper, pjs, swaddle, feeding, read a book, & put her down. Then it changed to this routine around 5 months old when we began sleep training: bath time (every other night), overnight diaper, pjs, sleep sack, read a book, & put her down. Currently her…
