Brand Highlight: Why I Love Little Sleepies!
It’s no secret that we love Little Sleepies pajamas in this house! If Mackenzie isn’t wearing a matching sweatsuit, she’s likely wearing a Little Sleepies zipper onesie (they make up 90 percent of her pajama drawer)! Here are just a few reasons why we love Little Sleepies: + they’re bamboo so they’re extremely soft and great for sensitive skin + the zipper pjs have hand and foot cuffs that can be folded over to cover hands and feet to keep them warm. I love the hand cuffs for when they’re small so you don’t have to worry about mittens staying on. At 17 months, I still love using the foot…

How to Make a Handprint Ornament with Model Magic
Sharing how easy it is to create an extra special ornament for your Christmas tree and a great way to watch your baby grow (insert crying face). I can’t believe how small her hand was in September 2020 compared to the size of her hand now! You’ll need: + model magic + rolling pin + parchment paper + circle cookie cutter + straw + thin ribbon or string Step 1: Place model magic between two pieces of parchment paper and roll it out to your desired thickness. Step 2: Use cookie cutter to cut out a circle. Use a straw to punch a hole at the top of the circle.…

Brand Highlight: Why I Love Lovevery!
My brand highlight posts, where I share why I love a certain brand, continues this week with Lovevery! We started receiving Lovevery play kits when Mackenzie was 5 months old. Her grandparents gave it to her during the holidays last year and we are still getting them at 17 months old. We also have other products from them like the play gym and stroller. Let me tell you why I absolutely love this brand! The toys are super interactive for babies and kids, but without any lights or sounds. I know speaking from experience that kids love toys that light up or play music, but after a while it starts…

My Scariest Moment As a Parent So Far, Parenting Fail Big Time
I don’t enjoy that I’m writing this post, but I wanted to share it because of how crappy this situation made me feel and how much blame I put on myself even though, in the end my daughter was fine. Also, I’m sharing this because I feel like there aren’t enough stories out there showing that we make mistakes as parents, we’re not perfect and it’s okay to make a mistake, but learn from your mistakes and grow. Last week, we went on a walk in Vermont and I didn’t think it was too cold for Mackenzie to join. Oh boy was I wrong! The temperature was in the 20’s…
